Two-Way Stretch Fabric

Stretch fabric is commonly made using synthetic fibres of elastane or lycra although some types of weave allow for stretch. A two-way stretch runs horizontally from salvage to salvage, whereas a four-way stretch runs both horizontal and vertical, across and up/down the fabric while stretch is displayed as a percentage.
