Our Return Policy
We have a 14-day return window. You have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in its original, unused, and unworn condition (exactly as received).
- It must include all original tags, labels, and packaging so we can resell it.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions or to apply a 20% restocking fee on approved returns to cover handling, repackaging, and lost resale opportunity.
Customer Responsibility for Returns
You (the customer) are responsible for paying all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping service. We will provide a return address, but we do not issue prepaid return labels except in cases of our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).
How to Start a Return
Contact us at contact@abcfabric.co.uk with your order number and reason. We will review your request. Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted.

Custom Length Fabric & Made-to-Order Items
As a fabric retailer, custom-cut fabric lengths, personalised, or made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable. These are made to your specific requirements and cannot be resold as new. Please measure carefully before ordering. Contact us before purchase if you have any doubts.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom-cut or personalised fabric/orders.
- Sale / discounted items.
- Gift cards.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Contact us within 48 hours at contact@abcfabric.co.uk if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. We will evaluate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty goods.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original (following the full return process) and place a separate new order.
European Union Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive the goods. You may cancel for any reason without justification.The same conditions apply: items must be returned unused, in original condition with tags and packaging. Custom-cut fabric and made-to-measure items are generally exempt from this right.
Electronic Withdrawal Function
We provide a clearly visible electronic withdrawal function in our store (effective 19 June 2026 compliance). This allows you to exercise your right of withdrawal online via a simple two-step process, with automatic confirmation sent by email.
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether it has been approved.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Banks/card issuers may take additional time to post the credit.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- A 20% restocking fee may be deducted from change-of-mind returns.
- Refunds will be issued in the original currency.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@abcfabric.co.uk. Partial refunds will apply where items show signs of use, are missing packaging/tags, or have reduced resale value.
